Fancy New Website

I just made this new website! It was a fun project that took me a little while to figure out. I'm no techy wizard at all like my brother, sister, and father. I can't figure out how to code or even what coding means. I'm tech savvy in some ways as in I know how to click a mouse and move it across a screen. I can open my email.

The purpose of this blog-like website is just so that I can have a place to put the things that I'm working on. They might be just snippets of projects or even the whole finished product of whatever music thing I've been working on. I may even post about the things that my family is going pretty often. It's really, for now, just a place to put the things that I've been up to during my days whenever I can find the time to do anything.

This is also a bit of an attempt at what Austin Kleon says in his book Steal Like An Artist. I'll likely butcher it, but he talks about having a place to put your things and be part of the online community in some way by having a website and letting it grow. To be honest, I'd like to re-read this book and understand it a little better. But I liked the concept of having a place to put things. I hope if anyone ever stumbles across this website, that it will be a helpful, if not at least mildly entertaining place to wind up on the internet.

So far, I'm not sure exactly what direction I want to go, but I know that I want to start with music. I want to make sure I don't lose my talents that I've worked almost all of my life to have. So I knew that having a place to put things on the internet would help me stay motivated to do just that. And not just any place like tik-tok or Instagram, but a place that is just mine and separate from all of that. I might post there also, but I needed a place that I can just be.
